What is Meant by Certified Organic?

Certification is given to foods that have been raised in strict agricultural methods, producing foods that are nutritional and safe. There is no use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or other chemicals on plants, in the ground or in animal feed. It makes use of crop rotation and other traditional methods to keep the soil fertile and the crops free of pests. There is no use of genetically modified organisms. Organic products have more minerals contain higher levels of Vitamin C and protein and taste more natural.
